Fringe, or top drilled pearls are great for a variety of projects. They are pear shaped, drilled through small part. You generally get more pearls per strand this way too. These have a deep black-purple color, with shimmers of bronze & cobalt.  nice quality as well, very smooth surface, no ridging, fun to use! 6-6.5mm diameter, by 6-7mm long.
