Akoya Freshwater Fireball Goldwashed Pink Pearls, 9-9.5mm

Lovely, deep shimmer, these have a nice luster, with a longer, fireball-meteor shape.  They are drilled through so they could be used as drops or dangles.  9-9.5mm diameter by 12-15mm long.  Lovely color, somewhat of a rose pink, with heavy cream and gold overtones.  Natural color.

These are called Akoya because they are cultured in the same way saltwater Akoya's are, but in a specific freshwater pearl mussel. 

They generally have a nucleus of mother of pearl, which can give them a more reflective nacre.
